We are just beginning to discover it in our region, it is already well known in the world, but it does not deny its true origin.
„Santa Muerta“ or „Holy Lady Death“ might not have a very positive impression on us, but this is not the case for the Mexicans with their ancient Aztec tradition of celebrating the dead - „Día de Muertos“, which is one of the most important holidays for them, similar to Christmas for us. And the figure of "La Muerta" is a typical symbol of this holiday. It is no wonder that he finds fans all over the world, he is such a beautifully depicted creature full of color and mystery. That's why it found its way to our workshop, where we had to create it in three variants. And since colors are typical of La Muerta, we spared no expense and covered her entire hand-painted face, added her typically colorful dress, and included colorful flowers in her long black hair. This red "Muerta" of ours combines typical Mexican elements with the spirited Spanish flamenco. Like the other marionettes from the "ART" collection, this designer marionette has many wooden elements and is technically created in such a way that its entire figure literally comes alive with every movement. You can also watch our video of its production.
